St Sebastian Fireworks Group  was founded on 21^st January 1979.The aim of this group till today is to prepare a spectacular pyrotechnic show for the feast of St Sebastian which is celebrated in Qormi on the 3^rd week of July. The Group consists of 25 licensed members under the supervision of Mr Raymond Bugeja.

During these 30 years St Sebastian Fireworks factory offered the locals and foreigner’s great spectacular shows both aerial and ground fireworks. The Group took part with success in The Maltese Fireworks Festival and other special occasions among which at the final of the concert of the Maltese Tenor Joseph Calleja at Manoel Island. The specialities of the St Sebastian Fireworks factory are the so called Blalen, round aerial shells. The Group is now preparing for another spectacular show for the Feast of St Sebastian which is going to be celebrated on 19^th July 2009.
