The National and International Relations Sub-Committee is responsible for all the exisitng and potential national and international linkages that the Council has established since its establishment.  These include also relations with Twinned Towns: Macerata (Italy), and Kercem (Gozo)

Councillor Responsible Mayor Nigel Holland

The Organisation Commitee “Malta New Years Eve Celebrations” is responsible for the successful organisation of this established calendar event held by the Floriana Local Council.

Since its inception, this event has seen two of the most spectacualr venues on the Maltese Islands: Majesstic St Anne Street, and the largest open square in Malta: The Granaries.

This event was organised for the first time on the 31st December 2010.
